Spartan Node Team Meeting Minutes February 25, 2021
This week the at the Spartan Node family meeting / cookout / team conference we discussed several proposals, check them out.
Spartan Node Weekly Payouts
The community has spoken. We’re going to start doing payouts every Monday between 12PM and 5PM California Time. This will allow Spartans to FURTHER compound their rewards. Snapshots will continue to be done according to the previous schedule of two snaps a week. Payout addresses and amounts will be published for transparency.
Monthly Charity Initiative
The community is encouraged to their choices for charities that will be awarded out of node rewards allocated in the budget. Last month the community chose Sole Hope which provides shoes for children in Uganda to prevent jiggers.
This month the Spartan community has chosen womenhereandnow.org as our March charity. womenhereandnow.org is a Columbian community led initiative to provide women with the resources and education to empower themselves and improve their living conditions in the La Guajira region of Columbia. Further information on this will be posted in the next Spartan Node update.
All members of the ICON community are invited to offer suggestions on a charity they would like to sponsor. All submissions for discussion should be submitted to CaliCrypto or ICXPumpLord. Spartan Node only donates to approved and registered charities in order to provide full transparency.
Spartan Army Ambassador Program
The Spartan Army Ambassador project is going to be a monthly program where different members of the community can apply to be paid Spartan Node team members for a month. We are looking for people who want to do social media (Twitter, Tik Tok, YouTube), designing (graphics, website, memes), advertising, programming. Ambassadors will be compensated through the approved budget.

BlockChain Dev Studio
Introducing Blockchain Dev Studio. An NFT simulator where you own and operate a blockchain studio and make dapps. Think of it as an Ebay for NFTs. NFT designers will be able to use this the Developer Studio to showcase their creations and monetize them. More information will be released closer to launch.
LambdaX Development
LDX is pretty much soft launched now, we are going to airdrop to all stakers. We are also developing several interesting ways for the community to earn, spend and trade LDX. If you’d like to purchase LDX we have the vending machine open at :

March Budget approved by 100% vote.
Notes on the budget. We hired Jon (a master SCORE programmer and all around good guy), and are putting money into the Spartan Army this is why the staking % is 60%. Every month it will be different but will not drop below 60% and will always be the highest on the network. The budget will always be up for a community vote so, make sure to come to the meetings and have your opinions heard.
Introducing Jon
We have a dedicated Score programmer, OG programmer, rapper, actor, hacker. Jon is going to make the Spartan machines work for you. We’re incredibly lucky to have him on the Spartan Node Team and you’re going to see some pretty crazy stuff fly off the shelves in the next couple months.
