Spartan Node Successful Official Launch
Hello Spartans! Spartan Node has gone live!
We all did a great job with the launch, right? We all deserve a raise!
Because we love you all so so much, the Spartan Node community has decided to UP the February Monthly Distribution Fund to 45% of total node income! Enjoy!
A new, updated Monthly Reward Fund breakdown will be out in the coming days, get your wallets ready.
As you can see Spartan Node received a super enthusiastic response from our fellow Spartans going from 98 to 34 on the ICX hot 100 charts as of Tuesday, January 26. But remember, this is only day 1! We truly appreciate your support in making Spartan Node node not just another P-rep, but THE community based, community staked, community ran and community rewarding P-rep. We’re very excited about the future of Spartan Node and excited to watch the node grow bigger, stronger and give back even more to the ICX community that inspired it.
As a member of Spartan Node YOU share in the rewards of the node, have a say in the governance, as well as being eligible for many of the promotions and giveaways we have planned. Not only that, but we’ll also ask for your opinion and engagement on any important Spartan Node decisions. We have no ranks here. We’re all the President and CEO.
How much will I make?
A lot of Spartan Node members have been asking, what will MY Spartan Node monthly payout be? And that’s a great question. However, because it is based on many factors (number of stakers, node income, number of ICX you have staked, number of total ICX staked) the answer changes every day! It’s hard to give a correct answer until the final monthly numbers are calculated, but check out the scenarios below.
(This is based on the old 40% Monthly Dividend Fund, the new February reward rate is 45%, so use these as an example and reference only)
The current 45% Monthly Rewards Fund is divided into a 35%/65% split. ALL stakers share 35% of of the fund equally, the other 65% is divided among all stakers based on how much they have staked, the more you stake, the more you make.
Monthly payouts will be up to a maximum of 100% of your stake! Meaning if you stake 1 ICX, you can make a maximum of 1 ICX per month. If you stake 100 ICX, you can make a maximum of 100 ICX per month. If you stake 1,000 ICX, you can make a maximum of 1,000 ICX per month! If you stake 10,000 ICX, you can make a maximum of 10,000 ICX per month These numbers are the maximum possible payout per month.
This will not affect 99% of wallets, this is only in place to deter members from voting from multiple wallets in order to gain more profit.
Scenario A:
If there is currently 1,100,000 ICX staked to Spartan Node and 100 stakers, the node would be making roughly 3,700 ICX per month. 40% of that would be about 1,500 ICX, this is the monthly dividend paid out to Spartan Node members — YOU. If you are staking 20,000 ICX, in this scenario the staker would make an extra 20 ICX on top of their regular staking rewards for staking with Spartan Node. 2 days worth of staking rewards, extra!
Scenario B:
If there is currently 1,000,000 ICX staked to Spartan Node and 100 stakers, the node would be making roughly 3,700 ICX per month. 40% of that would be about 1,500 ICX, this is the monthly dividend paid out to Spartan Node members — YOU. If you are staking 140,000 ICX, in this scenario the staker would make an extra 72 ICX on top of their regular staking rewards for staking with Spartan Node.
Remember these are for REFERENCE ONLY. The numbers change every day, as more ICX comes in and there are more stakers, so we can’t promise any specific number, what we can promise is that 40% of node income (MORE COMING SOON) will be divided among all Spartan Node members based on their monthly average stake, every month.

How is the monthly average calculated?
Your monthly payout will be based on the average number of ICX you have staked with Spartan Node throughout the month, calculated weekly. For example:
Scenario A:
You didn’t stake with Spartan node for week 1 or week 2, but you staked 10,000 ICX during week 3 and week 4. Your payout would be based on you staking 5,000 ICX. Average of (0, 0, 10,000, 10,000)
Scenario B:
You staked 10,000 ICX week 1, 15,000 ICX week 2, 15,000 ICX week 3, 15,000 ICX week 4. Your monthly average would be based on you staking 13,750 ICX. Average of (10,000, 15,000, 15,000, 15,000)

Remember! Get your stakes in before February 1st to be included in the first week of February rewards calculation. Rewards are based on your monthly average ICX staked to Spartan Node.
Rewards will be paid out every month, the first reward payment drops on March 1st.
