Spartan Token
Leonidis, Lambda… What is this thing called? The community has been trying to decide what to call their new Spartan Node community token. We’ve had a lot of great suggestions from the community and we might have come to an agreement on Laconian token, but nothing is official yet. It’s been difficult to find a name that really embodies the spirit of Spartan Node, so jump in the telegram and give us your ideas, team vote is soon soon.
This token is separate from our monthly dividends, which are paid in straight ICX. Watch for deets soon.
Spartan Suite Wallet
It’s not the wallet you need, but the wallet you deserve. It’s currently in pre — pre — alpha development… But ya mans Cali has been working hard to make sure it’s the ultimate Swiss/Spartan Army knife you deserve. Allowing Spartans to transact, send messages and also send encrypted pictures and audio on the ICON blockchain. And just between you and me… This thing could have some legit groundbreaking NFT functionality. But SHhhhhhh. You aint heard that from me. You have any lit ideas you want for Spartan Suite? Contributions always welcome.
The Game
We’re not sold on a name yet. Dusty has been working to get this game polished up into pre — release and we’re happy to announce it almost there. We really want this game to not just be fun to play but to allow Spartans to transact on ICON to not only earn and spend those Spartan — Laconian Drahkmas? But also be able to interact with NFTs which will add some special features to game play. It’s steadily developing and we’re excited to get it into active testing soon soon.

This has been a project that has been going on in secret for several months. I’m not going to give away too many details but I think we’ll all enjoy these and have a laugh for years to come. Military grade stuff.
The Charity Proposal
At Spartan Node we love giving back. That’s the whole idea of this community. We’d like to share this love with some people outside the community as well, people who really need it. We’ve had a lot of great discussions and we’ll soon shortlist a worthy cause for the community to vote on. This was a community initiative sparked by conversations in the Spartan Telegram. There’s a lot of passion out there for Spartans wanting to give back. As passion is what runs the world. We’re planning on doing a different charity/cause every month so we can spread that Spartan Node love all around the world.
